JOIN THE TEAM
SUMMARY
Assist Supply Chain Manager by providing clerical, analysis, and data entry support in addition to inventory management.
RESPONSIBILITIES BY COMPETENCY: (*denotes an essential function of the position)
Business Results Orientation
*Run reorder reports daily to evaluate product ordering needs
*Enter Purchase Orders into MAS and Vendor’s Systems
*Utilize the operating system to maximize inventory management
Ensure proper safety procedures are being practiced
Maintain regular attendance and follow designated safety practices
Perform other duties not listed as required
Communication
Act as secondary contact for sales and customer support in regards to inventory and costs
Act as secondary contact for vendor relations as needed
Keep supervisor informed of opportunities and progress toward process improvements
*Assist in communicating and driving strategies from the Balance ScoreCard
Communicate product updates and outages to sales and customer service
Customer Service Orientation
*Ensure correct stock levels to insure customer’s service levels are achieved
*Schedule and prioritize purchases and inbound freight based on demand
Ensure products are meeting quality standards
Handle all internal and external customer phone calls in a professional and respectful manner
Developing Talent
Attend training to further professional development and understanding of company goals and strategy
*Contact Human Resources for advice or assistance in hiring, counseling, appraising or terminating as necessary
*Complete Safety training as required
Technical Expertise
*Analyze information and utilize Excel at a proficient level
*Analyze and track performance goals to maximize resources
Maintain knowledge of and benchmarks off industry data
*Adhere to all Wallis Companies safety policies and report all safety incidents to supervisor immediately

Education: *Required: Equivalent to High School diploma.
Preferred: Associate Degree
Experience: *Over 3 years up to and including 5 years in warehouse/inventory experience.
Language Skills: *Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a professional manner that is
sufficient for effective communication with groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Skills and Abilities: (may be representative but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with the position)
Requires considerable independent analysis and judgment to effectively balance a number of constantly changing variables in regular and unusual circumstances and to determine appropriate actions to be taken. Purchasing duties require thorough knowledge inventory management and ability to use Excel. Excellent communication skills and judgment; detail oriented; ability to work well with others and under pressure; flexible availability for work. *Must be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office.
